Dear Carlos,
Thanks for your message. I’m sorry, I’ve been completely buried at work and only just saw your email.
If it’s all right, I’m passing your query to Bhavana Ananda, the lead DataStage developer, and also copying in the User mailing list in case her reply is of wider interest.
I know there are some problems with SWORD submission, but I’m not sure whether they’re on the DataStage side, or a problem with DataBank. The developers have been having monthly peer-programming sessions to try to get out a fully functional 1.0 release (next meeting 13 Sept), and I think they came up with a workaround for SWORD submission at their last meeting.
Bhavana… over to you!
Katherine

Subject: DataStage using SWORD 2
Hi Katherine,
Hope you are doing well and enjoying the bits of sunshine around.
I just wonder if DataStage is now SWORD 2 compliant as we tried to integrate it with our latest version of Eprints which also uses SWORD 2 and miserably failed – I then noticed that on the website it says that SWORD 2 will come soon or at least the packaging
done using bagit. By any chance could you point me to any documentation that relates to how we could be able to integrate it with a different repository other than DataBank?
Many thanks,
Carlos
