I may be imagining things, but.......

I usually have some print-outs from the city to attach to the plans and the easiest thing to do is to scan and insert.
It has always ballooned the PDF file, but now even that seems to have doubled.
I've used JPG and PNG files. PNG's used to make for a smaller plot but now seem to create a similar sized file.

Any thoughts......???

Hi Paul,

It depends on the file size of the images -- you can resample / resize them in an image editor (like IrfanView) and that will make the PDF smaller. Depending on the image, it might work to make them into GIF's?
