Search Engine Optimization help....!

hello guys I am currently working with the project which mainly
require user to search things/resources from the database and the
result being presented to him/her in a nice ranking order based on the
query he/she has submitted, just very similar to what google does but
for my case the information will be retrieved from the database and
not crawln then how can I do it..... any help....or direction to
follow..or API....etc..!

Kasongoyo,

You need to be more specific than this so that we can know exactly
how to help you out. what technology are using? is this a web
application or a mobile application? it depends on how complex or
simple the search is but if it's a simple search in a web
application all you may need is a few SQL queries and few lines of
code of the web development language of your choice e.g PHP, Ruby on
Rails etc, to format the data and present it to the user.

Try open source scripts such as "search lucene", carrot2, sphider, sphinxSearch and others!
