I think diagnostic block of the cervical plexus with LA followed by theraputic block can be tried. Morphine dose to be given 4hrly with incremental dose, once daily requirement calculated, try long acting prepn. Add laxative as morphine causes constipation. Paracetamol can be added instead of brufen. I have got good result with sphenopalatine also when found SGB sometimes difficult with locally involved area.
