BC. North Shore. Kamloops. Sunshine Coast. Whistler. A mecca of mountain biking or THE mecca. Some good two wheeled fun of the non-motorized kind. For some reason, I could never get the courage to do this with a motorcycle. Hook me up with a bicycle though, things change..

Sun Peak Resort

Whistler

A couple of the only reasons to move back to BC.

Ha. They never seem to feature six months of solid rain in the tourism vids.

On the topic though, I am trying to locate a 'soft' Dirt bike school for my wife and  her friend. Something with pillows and hugs when they fall. Everything wants to be some hardcore bootcamp nowadays....

Rich Oliver Mystery School in Fresno. Yeah, it's in Fresno, BUT they
said they'd put together a custom new to riding on dirt class for my
wife. They're wife friendly, have the correct gear and a bunch of
smaller bikes for all sizes. My friend Mike at Kushitani is a big fan.

On that note, I'm thinking of getting a private class together in
October (once it's no longer a furnace) and doing a steel toe, flat
track, two day 'fun camp'. Watch the video, let me know.

Speaking of Kushitani, does anybody here have any experience with them? I love that they're right down the street and do custom stuff. Any recommendations?

They seem nice and well built but insanely expensive.

That was my impression too when I was looking at them a while back, I was just wondering if anybody had experience with them.

I'm friends with Mike who kinda is Kushitan USA. They are on the
higher end of the cost spectrum as one would expect for items produced
in Japan. He often has one or two of something special. Last year, he
had a cool leather adventuring touring jacket for just over a grand.
From an exclusivity standpoint, you won't be running into yourself on
every corner.

Drop by the shop and see what he has in.
