A message from Rod Buck: Tried to get to Wether Fell Wendy yesterday (12th) to do complete overhaul, but there has been so much rain up there, the moor was sodden, and I managed to get the 4WD bogged down! Had to get the farmer to come and pull it out with tractor, which took until after dark! Will be back to try again next week, with winch and extra boards etc... more »

Small clear out

Just having a small clear out of stuff? Can anyone make use of a Sup Air ballast bag / flight deck? Dead MLR SP24XC GPS. I don't know why it died (not damage) but could be due to leaving the batteries out for a long period. Some geek might be able to get it going again. I can bring them along to the next club night.... more »

You don't have to be a skygod but you will need to be pilot rated and reasonably comfortable going XC. Air Ambulance e-petition

Air ambulances are not exempt from the VAT on the fuel they use, a
strange anomaly compared with the RNLI who are.
There's an e-petition here, if anyone would like to sign up. Aim is
for 100k signatures so the issue can be debated in the commons.

Calling all XC hounds, We (the Dales) have been challenged to an XC comp by Pennine and Derbyshire.
