It seems like a good idea to me that a zero should require deliberate entry rather than be assumed. If such a change can or should be made, please also consider at the same time my repeated requests to allow cut and paste between numerical entries.

Hi,
Sure thing. Backup and Sync are two different features. Backup takes a
snapshot of everything and uploads it as one file to Google Docs, so that
you can later restore to any past backup. Sync on the other hand takes all
your notes and synchronizes them with Google Docs and thus just maintains

How can I preserve all my notes and start the whole thing over?
First discovered this by searching for something I inputted in DT in GD.
Couldn't find it.
But GD had a "today" backup from DT
So I delayed an unneeded file from DT on iphone and synced.
There was no change in GD
So I backed up DT again and that showed up in GD.

Guys daily tracker pro edition doesn't sync for me with Google Docs at all.

I have a metric to monitor weight where I also capture daily related notes. However on days when notes is present but no weight measure - due to being away from home - it automatically records weight as zero thereby skewing the averages.
Could you modify the behavior so that it doesn't force enter zero values where note is present? I don't want to have separate journal to capture notes.

It sounds like you have some notes synchronized with Google Docs, but the
last backup that you made was in 2010. To synchronize your notes, tap the
Action button (top right corner on the main screen) and select Synchronize
Notes.

With Daily Tracker, you can synchronize your lists of notes with Google
Docs or export numerical categories as Google Spreadsheets. That's why when

How to restore current data

No idea what I did wrong, but ALL my to-do lists disappeared from my

I love this ap and I am considering an upgrade however I am unable to
get two simple categories to sync with google docs. If I create a new
category it will sync, backups work ok, but existing categories do not

Regardless of Google Docs, all data from your iPhone apps (including Daily
Tracker) are automatically backed up to iCloud if you've enabled it on your
phone. You can safely upgrade to iOS 5.1. There are 3 limitations when

In case someone else encounters an "Invalid username or password" error on
sign-in, it might be because you are using Google 2-step Verification (a
great security feature by the way).
