hi folks - i just got this alert about sign ups for spring '010 classes ---

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS !  YOUR HELP IS NEEDED==  registration for spr 10 is underway. merritt and laney is experiencing a very serious budget shortfall. in order to cover the loss of funding they will need to cut under enrolled coursesASAP !!! the courses on their  radar will be:  1)courses not connected with a certificate or degree--US !  2)electives for a certificate or degree US !  3)core courses taught by adjunct faculty US !  4) courses taught by full time faculty...  you can help us by enrolling early and enrolling often! as they will want to cut classes during the winter break it is essential that you enroll in any and all courses where you have an interest asap !.  you can always drop those classes with don't work out for you before the last date for a refund. that date is Feb  2. please help us continue to be able to offer you a quality education and the diversity of classes which go along with that effort.
