This year’s retreat will focus on the practice of Chinese or Daoist Alchemy
– referred to as Jindan “Golden Elixir” or Neidan “Inner Alchemy”. This
tradition is based on the various “hygiene practices” that culminate in two
main streams of meditation practice. This year we will offer a complete
introduction to the preliminary practices and instructions in the
entry-level meditation practice. You will receive particular
instruction/advice that establishes and stabilizes the embodiment (shen,
jing, qi) for beginners. The goal of the retreat is to offer a complete set
of teachings that have both View and Method teachings.

Lectures will be held in the Las Alas Lodge. Accommodations are rustic
cabins and rates include all meals provided by the retreat center.  The site
accommodates up to 40 persons. We will send you directions, and what to
