Spatial Networking

Hi Cytoscapers!

I was wondering if there is an add on application in cytoscape for spatial networking mapping???

If not I would be most grateful if you could suggest a software that allows a geographic overlay of network data?

Hi Christos,

In Cytoscape 3.0, you will be able to load images (e.g., geographical maps) as backgrounds and annotations to your network diagrams. But I'm not aware of an app that supports geographic coordinates and translates these into a node layout.

Do you know when Cytoscape 3.0 is expected to be launced? Until then would you be so kind and suggest me any other alternative solutions/programs?
