Unfortunately, the Z-order of the custom graphics won't help
you since it's independent of node z-order. Basically, the custom
graphics for each node are drawn as part of the node. As a
result, if a node happens to be on top of another node, it's
likely that your custom graphics will be occluded also...

been unable to find this property in Cytoscape. Where do I find

properties like this in VisMapper or the Custom Graphics

older post states that label order cannot be set. Does
that have any impact on this question?
