filters

dear helpdesk,

just came across this stylish product and am V impressed - have a
minor filtering issue re wildcards which I have searched this forum
for - also does not obvious in the built in help so I am hoping
someone knows the answer or this may be a feature request (or I could
be learning to write plugins)

my data has long stings with names that contain s string so I want to
filter for *<string>* which does not appear to work - any clues V
welcome

Hi Ross,

 

You can not use '*<string>*' as query string in the filter, this is not supported. However, the old filters does support this functionality. You can access the old filters through the menu pulldown Select->old filters. You may check the Cytoscape manual for how to use the old filters.
