Subject: how to use 'attribute batch editor'
Hello, there may be something wrong with my 'attribute batch editor'.I
selected all source nodes, clicked on 'attribute batch editor'and
selected 'set' in the first blanket but I found no attribute name
except for 'canonical name' in the second blanket. What's the reason?I
want to edit the colour of all selected notes, what shoud I do?
   Look forward to your help.

Hiya,
it sounds like you don't have any spare attributes to alter.
(Assuming the program's working okay) the node colours can be set
based on the value of an attribute using vizmapper, but you need an
appropriate attribute on which vizmapper can filter. If you initiate a
new node attribute with the sheet icon next to the trashcan icon in
the datapanel and set up a string attribute called 'colour', say, your
selected nodes can be given the value yellow, or red, or whatever.
Then using vizmapper, set up so that 'node color' for value 'yellow'
is yellow.

If you already knew the above, my apologies for preaching to the
converted

Regards
Russ
