Subject: Another problem with filters
Hi Cytoscape helpdesk, I also have another problem with filters. When I try to make a new topology filter and hit the 'apply' button, all I get is a spinning blue disc and nothing changes in my network. Cytoscape still responds though. I am running asputin:~ phillipneal$ java -version java version "1.5.0_20" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_20- b02-315) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_20-141, mixed mode, sharing) rasputin:~ phillipneal$ Mac OS X 10.5.8 and Cytoscape 2.6.3 Best, Phil Neal

Hi Phil Neal
I can not reproduce the error you have. Is the error reproducible?
Thanks,
Peng

Hi Peng,
User error !
I tried to make a topology filter but I chose an edge filter rather
than a node filter
for the criteria 'and the nodes pass the filter'.
So cytoscape was just waiting around for me to choose an appropriate
filter.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
Phil Neal
