Hi everyone!
I used the MiMI plugin to identify additional interactions of my
single nodes in an initial network. This resulted in a new network
with new edges and some additional external nodes which connect my
single nodes. Now I want to merge this new MiMI network with my
initial network. The problem: MiMI used internal numerical IDs for
identifying the nodes, although GeneIDs are given as attributes
(Gene.name).
I cant find an easy way to merge the two networks (one having GeneIDs
and the other numerical IDs as identifiers) without having two nodes
representing the same gene.
Anyone can help me?

THX in advance!

best wishes,
AndyT

Hi, under plugins>Advanced Network Merge a dialog pops up that provides functionality to merge networks based on attributes of choice. This is not shown by default in the dialog, you have to expand the Advanced Network Merge arrow to at the bottom of the window.
Hope this helps,
Piet
