Hi,
I have been using the import attribute using Biomart feature in cytoscape to import GO ontology from ensembl. When I import Go biological process terms for all the nodes in my network it creates two attributes:
1. GO Term Name (bp)
2. GO Term Name (bp) - TOP
and I was wondering what second attribute represents?
I thought that it was the most specific GO term but when I do the same thing using GO Slims the GOA slim Description - TOP is always "biological process" (but thatt is not the TOP for the regular GO).
Thanks,
Ruth

Hi.
The second attribute created by the plugin is first entry of the full
list attribute. Unfortunately, it just picks the first one whatever
the value is, so "TOP" does not mean the most
specific/significant/commonly used term.
