Subject: Announcing Multilevel Layout and Biological Evaluation plugins
We are happy to announce the release of our Multilevel Layout and
Biological Evaluation plugins. The operation of these plugins in a
wide variety of both physical and genetic interaction networks is
described in the recent paper:
http://www.biodatamining.org/content/5/1/2/

Multilevel Layout method applies the conventional layout algorithms
within a multilevel optimization framework to better capture the
hierarchical modularity of many biological networks. The plug-in is
available from the Google code website:
http://code.google.com/p/multilevellayout/

Biological Evaluation framework tests the layout solutions from any
graph layout method using the GO semantic similarity, and it can be
used e.g. to optimize the layout for a given network type. The plug-
in is available from the Google code website:
http://code.google.com/p/externalvalidator/

We hope you will find these plugins useful!
