Milo McIver Bike Camping TOMORROW!

Weather is looking good for this weekend's trip to Milo McIver State
Park!

Meet at 9:30 am at Cleveland Avenue MAX Station in Gresham. Cleveland
Ave is the east end of the line for the BLUE line MAX.

We'll be leaving at 10am and riding 21 miles to Milo McIver State
Park. The return route is NOT a loop - we will be returning to the
Clackamas Town Center GREEN line MAX Station on Sunday. The return
leg is 24 miles.

Cost per person will depend on the number of participants, but it
shouldn't exceed $10. Cycle Wild does not charge for trips, but
Oregon State Parks charges $75 for the use of the group camp. We're
expecting about 10 people on this trip, which works out to $7.50 per
person. If we get more people, the cost per person will be lower.
The group site we are in holds up to 50 people.

Everyone is responsible for their own food. I will have my cast-iron
skillet with me and will be making pancakes Sunday morning for anyone
who wants to have some, but other than that, you're on your own for
meals. Estacada (2 miles before the park) has a full-service
supermarket, Subway, a pizza place, and a couple other restaurants, a
bakery and a brew pub - so there are options for lunch/dinner both on
the way in and the way out.

High temp of 58 tomorrow, 68 on Sunday, 44 for the low on Saturday
night. No rain is forecast this weekend, so it should be a great trip
