Subject: Stub Stewart Update
NOTE: This is State Parks' FREE weekend, which means all the state
parks will likely be full.  See below for notes on this trip!

When: Saturday, June 2 - Sunday, June 3
Meet: 9:30am, June 2 at Hatfield Government Center MAX Station
(Hillsboro end of the MAX blue line)
Depart: 10am

Mileage: 23 miles one way
Cost: about $10, see notes

Notes: Check the Cycle Wild website - http://www.cyclewild.org on
Friday, June 1st after 12 noon to see if there is space on this trip.
This weekend is Oregon State Parks' free weekend (State Parks Day),
meaning all the campsites are FREE.  As you might imagine, this makes
all the campgrounds pretty popular. Stub Stewart's Brooke Creek
campground (tents) is first-come, first-served, so it may actually be
full on the weekend in question.  We have 3-4 people going out to the
park on Thursday to grab 1 site each.  Depending on how successful we
are, that means we may have room for 4-12 attendees.  So check the
site tomorrow after 12 noon to see how much space we have available.

We apologize for the inconvenience.  Next year, we'll either choose a
different weekend or reserve a group camp at a different park.
