Last-minute Camping Announcement

Hey, if you're bored, and want to camp tomorrow night (Friday), a few
of us are headed up to Stub Stewart tomorrow - we'll be leaving the
MAX station at Hatfield Government Center at 5pm sharp and riding up
to Stub Stewart so we can check out the new improvements to the Banks-
Vernonia trail. Here's the plan:

Friday:

5pm: Depart Hatfield Government Center MAX station in Hillsboro
6pm: Arrive in Banks, get food at the Thirftway
6:30pm: hit the road
8pm: Arrive at the park

Saturday:

10am-ish: Ride to Vernonia, check out status of north end of trail
noon: eat Chinese food in Vernonia
1:30pm hit the trail heading south
5pm-ish: arrive back in Hillsboro

Obviously, there is a strong possibility we'll be back later than the
time given here. It should be dry on the ride to Stub Stewart, but
there's a 50% chance of rain Saturday, and almost certainly rain
Saturday evening. Lows in the 40s, highs in the mid-50s.

This is not meant for beginners, but we have experienced folk going,
so if you feel like camping Friday night, and are available, you are

Next scheduled trip is in 1 more week (1st weekend of November) - also
to Stub Stewart, so if you can't make it this weekend, try next
weekend!
