Subject: Christmas Bicycle

I got a call today from a friend who has very generously offered to sponsor gifts for a family for Christmas.  Three children are involved and she has asked me to try and find a used bike in fair to excellent shape for the oldest (14yo) child, a boy.  He needs something kind of rugged that would hold up on country roads, a used mountain bike would be best.  The boy is about 5' 6" tall and has been riding a broken down BMX bike.
I have a new helmet I can add into the mix and I'm willing to drive to pick up the bike. If anyone has a lead on such a bike, please let me know.
