Anybody going to the B.F.O.C. Tweed Ride? Once again, I'll be working
that weekend. http://bikefriendlyoc.wordpress.com/2009/11/06/dallas-tweed-ride-nov-22nd-330pm/

Buy your outfit from Dashing Tweeds. http://www.dashingtweeds.co.uk/dt/shop/

Oh why can't I live somewhere where cool things happen instead of
dullsville.

It was good to see Myles at the FW cross today. Alas, I fear he has
accumulated blackmail photos, but at least he didn't see me puke!

Unfortunately there was no puking seen. It was a really good turnout
this morning. I enjoyed it.

My wife and I might check it out, but I don't have anything tweed. I
might swing by the Goodwill.

"...but I don't have anything tweed"  Well, then.  I guess here's a good opportunity to get with the program.

BABBLE will, of course, need a complete journalistic report...with photos.

Hey DD, did you end up doing the Tweed Ride? It looks like it was a
lot of fun.

I sure did and it WAS fun. I made a few mistakes riding with a new
rider (my wife) that, in retrospect, could have been handled better.
She isn't used to her new bike nor was she conditioned to take a few
of the hills, so we got dropped both ways. Going there was fine,
because we knew the area, so we just arrived a bit late. Coming back
was a bit of a challenge.
