Hello,
I support same request of "K-Man":

*************
Is it possible to have a sync function that deletes files in the
target. Right now if a file is deleted on the source ie the PC,
youhave to delete it online otherwise with a mirror function it will
download the file again. With the upload function it will leave the
deleted file in the cloud. There needs to be a function where you can
have the option of deleting the files in the target if it is deleted
at the source.
*************************

Best way can be an option like "delete in local" and "delete in
remote"
Otherways I need so much space in GDocs ....

Thanks

Gianni

We are reluctant implementing this as there *will* be people that say we have deleted their data.

+1 for deleting orphans on sync

Couldn't you make it an obscure opt-in setting? I find this feature absolutely essential. A lot of other clients (transmit, forklift, winscp) have it. As long as it's clear to the user beforehand what exactly is being deleted, it should be fine.

you can always have a popup when a user does that for the first time, explaining what is going to happen. FWIW, with Dropbox, when you delete a file on any of the sync'ed devices, that file is deleted from all other sync'ed devices.
The whole point of mirror sync'ing is that you have an exact copy of your files on all your devices. If it is not the case then it becomes a little pointless...
