you will find the Fancy ListViews chapter from _The Busy Coder's Guide
to Android Development_, in EPUB format, for testing purposes.
Generally speaking, of all the Warescription formats, PDF will probably
always be best in terms of looking good. EPUB in particular is going to
depend a fair bit on the reader you are using.
I have tested this EPUB file on Bookworm (O'Reilly online viewer), and
it's not bad there. I think the problems are more my own, needing to add
and tweak a CSS file (e.g., centering the figures and styling their
captions).
I have tested this EPUB file on three Android readers (Alkido,
FBReaderJ, and Word-Player), and results are crappy. That's a
combination of tiny screens and those readers' inexplicable navigational
design choices making the source listings useless. Of the three,
FBReaderJ is the worst, declining to use a monospace font for the
relevant sections.
I will test it on a Sony PRS-505, once the battery charges, and sometime
on Stanza on an iPod Touch.
This EPUB file is lacking a few things that I will have when I release
the books in full, such as internal links, a cover, an index, and so on.
If you are an EPUB aficionado, give it a whirl, let me know what reader
you're using, and what you're experiencing different than what I
outlined above. Where possible, post a screenshot somewhere illustrating
any particular problems.
My hope is to put more time in on this in coming weeks and releasing all
the books in EPUB format in mid-January.

Looks good on the Sony PRS-700, except for some of the code examples
don't wrap, they just get cut off. Otherwise it looks great.
