search PDF text

Hello,
I'm trying to search the text of your PDF texts and Adobe Reader will
not return results for common search words, like XML, etc. Am I doing
something wrong, or is the text in this document not searchable?

My apologies for the massive delay in responding to this -- for some

All of the books are searchable in Adobe Reader.

I haven't had any problems searching the books. But I don't use Adobe
Reader anymore. On my Android devices I use ezPDF Reader; on my desktops
(Ubuntu & Linux Mint) I use the built-in Evince document reader.

I tried to search the book again, with no luck. However, I can search the other three books, but not the first one. I will try downloading it again. Maybe it was scrambled or corrupted somehow.

I will be surprised if you can read it and not search it. To do
anything more, I would need to know specifically what OS, PDF version
(name and version), etc. you are trying to use.

As I said, it might be a corrupted PDF file, because I can search the others, but not this one, on the current version of acrobat reader, MacBook pro, os10.6x.

Yes. That was the trouble. When I downloaded another file, it worked fine.
