I moved the chapter on search integration from _The Busy Coder's Guide
to Android Development_ into the Advanced Android book, because Android
1.6 really makes that a fair bit more complex. The upgraded chapter
covers much of what you need to do to integrate suggestions into local
search and integrate your app's suggestions into global search, though
more material will be added in future updates.
Also:
-- I added a section on PackageManager and an example of creating a
launcher-style activity
-- I added a small chapter on device configuration, summarizing all of
the places where you can configure a phone (both through the SDK and
through less supported means)
-- I added a smidge of coverage of SoundPool, AudioTrack, and ToneGenerator
-- I fixed a bunch of errata and made other minor improvements
The PDF version is available now. The Kindle version should be ready in
a bit over a week. The source code samples are updated on github.
More Android 1.6 material will show up in _The Busy Coder's Guide to
Android Development_ Version 2.2, which I hope to have by late October.

They are linked to from each book's page on the public Web site:

Look for the Source Code link on each page, in the Details box, on the
right hand side of the page.
It dawns on me that, since everything is up on github repos and those
links are now stable, that I can add links to them from the Warescription
page as well. I'll add that to my to-do list.
