Hi all,

I'm working on a python-based OpenCV project for factory inspection,
and really wanted to use cvblob as the blob library -- so I ended up
writing a python wrapper.

https://github.com/oostendo/cvblob-python

(intended to be cloned into cvblob/contrib)

This was my first python wrapper using Boost::Python, and my C++
skills are fairly dull after a dozen year hiatus, so any
suggestions/comments are welcome. There is quite a bit left on the
TODO list, but this gets the basic labeling/rendering functionality
accessible to Python users.

PS. Cristóbal much thanks for writing such a great blob library --
it's really excellent!

Hi Nate! That's great!

Casually I've just invite a new developer to the project who is
working in another Python interface. His interface is based on Swig,
so I see no inconvenient to add both interfaces to the project. I
didn't know the Boost::Python approach, and seems very elegant.

In a few days I hope to have time to work in testing and integrating
both implementations.

Nate, thank you very much for your work and share it with all of us! I
am a big Python fan and always have wanted something like this.

Best regards,

Cristóbal

PS: You're welcome! :D
