Archaeology Students and others!!
Learn the basics of flintknapping
and lithic technology!

You will also learn to identify technologically diagnostic debitage types.
Types of lithic material, heat-treatment of rock, tool types, hafting,
use-wear analysis, different types of percussion reduction, pressure
flaking, projectile points, and other topics will be discussed in class.

Class meeting time and days:
10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays
January 12, 19, and 26
February 2 and 9
March 1 and 8
Optional March 14-16
April 5 (final exam)
Room: T-500-3

The cost of the class for residents is $56.00 plus the cost of books. If
you are not currently enrolled at Fresno City College, you will have to
complete an application for admission prior to registering for the class.
