Rev. Charles Westfall's wife, Charlotte, was put in Western Baptist Hospital ICU, Paducah, today. She has been a patient there for a few weeks following a stroke. She is in serious condition. Please lift the Westfall family in your prayers.

that the Rev. Howell "Gay" Mims, passed away last night. Rev. Mims was the
long-time pastor of the Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Columbus,

in bed last night thinking about this. It may be a stupid question but
here goes. Jesus was God in a human body. The Bible said that Jesus
learned obedience through suffering {oh course so do we}--my assumption
is that since He knows and understands our suffering that even though

about the different ancient civilizations of Biblical times. I wish
there were overlays to help one understand where each of the cultures
were and then overlaid on top of present countries. Does anyone know of
anything like that. It is hard for me to keep up I need to see

A friend of mine sent me this today. I had seen something like this before, but he noted that this is a tool that is being used in his Church to reach out to those who do not know the Lord. Members are encouraged to send this to friends they know who are not Christian.
