Rev. Charles Westfall's wife, Charlotte, was put in Western Baptist Hospital ICU, Paducah, today. She has been a patient there for a few weeks following a stroke. She is in serious condition. Please lift the Westfall family in your prayers.

Death - Jack Camp

Jack Camp, the husband of Rev. Annetta Camp Associate pastor of the Dyersburg CP Church, died last night (Nov. 20). Jack Camp's viewing will be at the Halls Funeral Home, Halls, TN from 5-8:00pm Monday Evening (Nov. 23). The funeral will be at the Poplar Grove CP Church, Halls, TN Tuesday (Nov. 24) at 11:00am.

I always enjoyed working with Gay at CPYC. My prayers go out to the family, and to all the lives that were touched by his ministry.

I love it! It fits my impression of the people from Scotland, which includes many of my not so distant ancestors. They don't always do what others think is good and proper. The French were the ones giving the award. They aren't always considered good and proper either. Cultures vary widely even among white Europeans.

Another book which has been very widely used for quite a while, but which is
still readily available from Amazon in an updated edition, is "The Bible As
History" by Werner Keller. I have the "2nd Revised Edition" published by
William Morrow 1981.

At the meetiing of G. A. in Hot Springs I was able to visit tihe Gay and wife. Guy added much to the Church and to Education. My the Lord be with and bless his wife and family. Don Nunn

I have been asked by Annette Benson, sister of Gay Mims, to let you know that the Rev. Howell "Gay" Mims, passed away last night. Rev. Mims was the long-time pastor of the Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Columbus, MS, and served as Chair of the General Assembly Council as recently as 2005. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Sunday afternoon and at 1:00 pm Monday. His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday - all at the Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Wolf Road, Columbus, MS. Rev. Mims home address is 3011 Wolf Road. Please remember his wife, Martha Jo, son Wesley, and others in this family in your thoughts and prayers.
