  <title type="text">Shawnee Mound CP Church 140th Anniversary</title>

  Nov. 1, 2009 was a day of celebration for the Shawnee Mound CP Church in Missouri. About 85 people gathered during 2 services to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the church. Former pastor Rev. Larry Bagby preached at both services. Doris Hunter and Mary Lyn Childs were instrumental in making the celebration successful.

I notice an increased number of younger ministers (assuming your youth) who profess a great faithfulness to the Word and understanding of the &amp;quot;New Birth&amp;quot;. It seems to me sometimes, we have been through a long Winter of man centered theology and now we are seeing an emerging Spring with spiritual flowers blooming all around us.
