Sisters and brothers, friends and family,

This is a glimpse inside the workings of Congress we should all see.

I have never made a political statement on the list, but I must respond to this post.

This is pathetic for any group, much less our House of Representatives, regardless of which side of the aisle we may stand on.  If our goverment has come to this, we are in terrible trouble.  This is very scary, Donald.

J. Don

Yes it is.  And you notice that those who object are not astonished, and show no outrage; they are accustomed to it.  I know of no power but prayer that is equal to the challenges to democracy we face.  With the growth of Acorn and its frauds, on top of existing political machine fraud, we can no longer count on fair elections.  But I thank God that 2 Corinthians 10:4 still holds.

We MUST become people of more and sincere prayer - especially for our nation.  Our Pastor has begun a Sunday evening prayer group every month, just to pray for those things that confront us.  I am so pleased to see a young man believe and place such a strong emphasis on prayer.  To me, it is the only weapon we have to confront much that we confront in and out of the church today.

You are right.  Thank God that 2 Corinthians 10:4 still holds.

Fair "elections"?  I assume you refer to 2000.

I thought he was talking about fair elections in the future.  Never assume to know what someone else is thinking!
