I have been asked by several for an update on Russ's condition since the surgery for an aneurysm.  He has been kept sedated since the surgery.  He is on oxygen and had a tube in his mouth until yesterday when it was replaced with a trach.  He has been on dialysis which was removed yesterday but probably will be resumed today.  His heart rate has remained very good.  The blood pressure has fluctuated some, but is in reasonable ranges.  

This long of a recovery was not anticipated, but we are confident he will soon start improving and be back aggravating everyone.  In the meantime he remains in Vanderbilt Surgical ICU.
