I was reading
about the different ancient civilizations of Biblical times. I wish
there were overlays to help one understand where each of the cultures
were and then overlaid on top of present countries. Does anyone know of
anything like that. It is hard for me to keep up I need to see
something like that to get it to say in my head; and even then it is
questionable if it would stay but AT LEAST I COULD REFER TO IT.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, & self-control. Gal. 5:22

Try "_A Complete Guide to the Bible_ by Stephen M. Miller. It gives a thumb nail sketch about each book and some historicity.
Also, _The Archaeoligical Study Bible_ is much more thorough.

Another book which has been very widely used for quite a while, but which is still readily available from Amazon in an updated edition, is "The Bible As History" by Werner Keller. I have the "2nd Revised Edition" published by William Morrow 1981.

Thank you for your reply. I am looking into all those books that have been referred to me. I appreciate everyone's response.
