Subject: 4th of July

A segment on the news last night told of the British finding an original signed document of the Declaration of Independence.  It got me to thinking and asking the question:  Do they have a 4th of July in England?

Have an enjoyable and safe 4th of July.

Are you trying to trick us?   Of course they do.   They just don't celebrate it as an Independence Day.

Am not quite sure of your point, but I thought that there  would be the
Fourth of July at some hour of the day all over the  world.

To everyone, "Have a Happy Fourth of July".

God bless,

Vera

Over the years I have asked that question and many responded "No."  They of course were thinking of the celebration and not the actual day of the year.  Then, I would respond with something like this: "So they have a July 3rd followed by a July 5th but not July 4th and then they would capture the meaning of the humor.

Not everything in life needs to have a point.  Some things are humorous in themselves and folks usually laugh at such.  We take life way too serious at times.

Have a great day.

Good response, Ron.  Mine was going to be Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, oops wrong holiday.
