I'm looking for a person to give a 30-50 minute lecture for a course that is an
intro to GIS. The practical part of the course is entirely ESRI (ArcGIS
Desktop)-based, but I thought it might be interesting for the students to hear
about options for FOSSGIS.
The course meets on Thursdays at 2:30-3:20 on UW campus. I'd be looking for
someone to lecture on Feb 18, 25, Mar 4, or Mar 11.
Here is the provisional schedule for your info:

Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in doing.
Thank you,
-P.

I would be happy to do this (and have done similar talks at PSU and OGI in
Portland). Let's talk offline in the next could weeks about which date
would work if you are interested. Would be fun and I always look forward to
opportunities to come talk with students.
