I am currently training to be a transliterator. I know the system but
need to increase speed and learn how to transliterate. I would like
ideas on how to accomplish my goal. Do you know of any materials I can
order to help with my speed.......? There are no cue camps or LMI
classes in my area.

I looked at the phonics faces — the concept is just like the "40
Cuers" poster: [link]

It is hard to see from the small picture of the whole poster, but each
face is cueing-and-saying each phoneme.

I recommend that people buy two or more -- one to keep whole and one

Andy came up to Canada to help with a beginner's Cued Speech workshop
a few years ago. He was able to correct cueing errors that we were
making. We didn't believe that he could know for sure what we had
said, but he was always correct! He really has an excellent sense of
the English language and how it sounds.

I have been invited to do a presentation on Cued Speech for a
University class here in the Dominican Republic. This class is part of
an intensive course to expose teachers of the deaf to new teaching
methods. More specifically, they are going to want to know methods of
teaching Cued Speech to students.
