Scout Parents,

 

Just a quick reminder that if you attend Christ Community, this Sunday is Scout Sunday.

 

We would like all Cub Scouts, American Heritage Girls, Boy Scouts, and adult leaders  from any pack or troop to show scout spirit by wearing their uniforms (hat, shirt, neckerchief, slide and belt... uniform pants are optional). There will be service opportunities for scouts to greet, distribute bulletins at the sanctuary doors, and help collect the offerings. If a scout would like to serve they can see me at the east ushering station (closest to the elementary wing) by the sanctuary to volunteer.

 

Also, this week the youth group is coordinating a canned goods food drive that will be donated to Graceworks.  Family Pastor Eric Van Zee invited us as scouts to help with this, so there may be opportunities to serve in this capacity as well, especially for older scouts.  And of course, please bring some canned goods to donate.
