Symbolics

Thanks for your suggestions, one and all.
However I am still stuck. No joy whatever with the Symbolics Keyboard
extension under MacOS 7.5.3 on a Quadra 950. I fear that this is the first
crack in the MacIvory's viability under the evolving MacOS.

I have gone back to scratch but to no avail:
- Virgin disk partition
- Installed virgin MacOS 7.5, then virgin 7.5.3 on top.
- Removed every Extension and Control Panel except the minimum (including
Close View).
- Done a complete fresh installation of Mac side of Genera from the 8.3 CD.
- Zapped PRAM, rebuilt desktop, removed other System Folders, ...
- Symbolics Keyboard extension is MacIvory Support, Version 4.2 Oct 25, 1992

Same problem.
The Mac does not appear to recognise the Symbolics Keyboard extension at all.
And MacIvory III Genera 8.3 recognises some characters, but not others
(like e, o, t, u, shift, control, meta, ...)

Reverting to MacOS 7.5.1 makes all perfect.

Any clues?
