Are you a Python developer? A dynamic Cape Town / Winelands company has a six-month contract position open. Non-negotiable is Python programming experience. The more of these the better: GIS (especially the FOSS GIS stack), Django, JavaScript, spatial databases, html (preferably html5), css, Amazon/Cloud, mobile (platform independent and native), SQL, Linux system administration, OGC standards and Agile methodologies to name a few.
You will be deadline driven, enjoy working in a changeable environment and enjoy learning. As this is a small company, you will be required to take on multiple projects and manage your time. You will be based in an office in Paarl or Muizenberg, both of which have good public transport access.
