The venue will most likely be the synthasite offices [1], which leaves
the small matter of suitable talks.
Any volunteers?

I've got a gmail account. Why haven't I become cool?
I'll volunteer a talk titled "Everything You Didn't Want to Known
About Python Objects" in which I chronicle my recent findings in the
depths of Object/object.c.

I will be in Cape Town for my father's birthday, the timing seems too
good to be true.
So maybe I can volunteer to speek? As you might know Translate.org.za
writes all of its tools in Python. I don't think I can advance anyones
knowledge about Python but I could touch on things related to
localisation, perhaps talk about some of the new projects we are
starting, or generally do a Q&A.
Does that sound interesting to anyone?

+1
II think a talk on localization and the right way to go about making
apps localizable would be awesome.

Sounds good.
I've update the wiki page with the talk offers.
Is there any way we can start earlier? I need to be at my dad's 70th at
14:30, so I was wondering if there was any way in which we could move
the agenda forward to say 12:00 but even 13:00 would be doable for me.
If not I'm afraid I will have to bail.
I hope we can sort something as I'd really like to touch base with
Python people.
PS I might be off mail for a while so an SMS to 083 443 7114 would be
appreciated :)

No problem, bring him along as a birthday gift. Explain to him that his
phone runs python.

I'm fine with having a talk at 12:00. I can still give my talk at
14:30 in case people pitch up then, but perhaps this is a decision
best left to the day.
I'll be there for 12:00 then and we can see what sorts out :)
Thanks again to Dwayne for his talk on localization. Interesting to
hear stories from the i18n trenches. :)
