CTPUG 14 will be held on the 18th, so it's less than two weeks away.

I believe that:
a) the PED talk offer still stands and,
b) Simon Ratcliffe is trying to organise a room at the observatory
for the meeting, so we can look at the hardware.

Any other talk offers or suggestions? [1]

[1] Continuing with Project Euler problem 167 is an option, but,
unless anyone has had a significant insight during the interval,
that's unlikely to be much more productive than the past attempts.

I've got a gmail account. Why haven't I become cool?

Since 2.6 was released since the last talk, a review of the new
features might be in order? I'll volunteer if no one else does [1].

[1] I suspect this is equivalent to just volunteering.

Simon Ratcliffe will be talking and has organised the SALT boardroom
at the SAAO in Observatory. Usual starting time of 14:00.

The SAAO buildings [1] are between The River Club and Valkenberg in
Observatory. Taking Liesbeeck Parkway away from the N2, turn right at
the traffics lights where Station Road meets Liesbeeck Parkway. Drive
passed the turn off to The River Club and then go left through the
gates into the SAAO. At the boom tell the security people you're going
to the PED or KAT talk in the SALT boardroom. Then keep left and
follow the SALT signs.

It's in the fork between the Liesbeeck River and the Black River shown in [1].

The SAAO website is at [2] and the PED website at [3].

If the PED talk and looking at hardware gones on a bit, we can discuss
2.6 over drinks. I'll print out the list of new things as points for
discussion.
