House Democratic Leadership Forum on
Energy Bill Reduction with C-PACE
House Majority Leader Joe Aresimowicz (D-Berlin), Bonding Subcommittee House Chair Rep. Betty Boukus (D-Plainville), Finance Revenue and Bonding Committee House Chair Rep. Pat Widlitz (D-Guilford) and Energy and Technology House Chair Lonnie Reed (D- Branford) will hold a special presentation on Tuesday, May 21, at 9:30 a.m. in Room 2C of the Legislative Office Building.
The presentation will feature the opportunity to learn about a new statewide program that will allow for reduced energy bills for facilities like YMCA’s, YWCA’s and Boys and Girls Clubs of Connecticut-with no upfront costs.
Connecticut’s Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA) will explain the benefits of the Commercial and Industrial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program.
