Hi everyone

Is there any upcoming events, discussions or technical sessions?

It would be great if we as a Java community in Cape Town can come together and have discussions or technical sessions where we actually sit and write code. It is always exciting to see what people are busy with and learn from the sessions.

You can also look on Meetup, but of course then it might not be purely Java-focused :/

Hi Rentius and other CTJuggers,

Why don't you come along to the next meeting of the Cape Town Ruby Brigade? They meet up once a month for a presentation and to talk tech. Next months presentation is about a Javascript MVC framework. You might be able to recruit some other people to code with.

Ember.js is an opinionated MVC framework for building single page web applications. It draws inspiration from Ruby on Rails and the Cocoa framework. I will discuss how you can build build dynamic websites and cross-platform mobile web applications using Ember.js with a Rails based server on the back-end.

With regard to other events, You;ve just missed Scaleconf  and RubyFuza but theres still a PHP conference coming up later in the year.

I've heard that the Python community and that they get together for hackathons.
