New Schedules & Service Changes for December 16

We wanted to make sure that you knew, if you haven't retrieved it already, that an updated GTFS package, which includes schedule information for service changes that go into effect Sunday, December 16, is available. Changes go into effect at the start of the service day, or at the end of Owl Service on 24-hour routes (~4am).

 

If you use GTFS to extrapolate stop lists and routings in an app, this is an important package as a number of significant changes to service go into effect. (See the Plan to Reduce Crowding for more information about these changes.)

 

The package also includes updated schedule details for all routes--101 bus routes, for example, will have new schedules effected on Sunday.

 

Note that the #1, #11, #120 and #121 also will have their names changed:

 

• #1 Bronzeville/Union Station (was Indiana/Hyde Park)
• #11 Lincoln (was Lincoln/Sedgwick)
• #120 Ogilvie/Streeterville Express (was Ogilvie/Wacker Express)
• #121 Union/Streeterville Express (was Union/Wacker Express)
