This is not released, but in the but in the bleeding-edge
[link] there is [ Ctrl-a -> d ] which
will dump your scrollback histories for each window to a seperate file
(on your local machine)... You can then cat these together if needed.

If you have other junk in the history, do a [ Ctrl a -> k ] to clear

Does anyone have a good method of getting the output from running a command
in your open windows to one place?
I use copy and paste to build a list of results from my open csshX windows
currently and that's painful. It would be very cool if you could toggle
some flag to make the output from the next command go to a pane or

I actually ran across nmap in my searches but didn't think it was what I
needed. I have installed it now and it shows port 21 for FTP, 80 for HTTP,
443 for HTTPS, and others, about 8 altogether. The strange thing is it
doesn't show port 22 as being available for SSH, even though I can use it.

Hi,

Try [Ctrl-A] [x] to exit. Should shut everything down fast.

Also, it's worth checking in the "Terminal.app -> Preferences -> Shell
-> When the shell exits:" is set to "Close if shell exited cleanly".
So windows close themselves when finished.

Thanx for a very nice product.
Is there a way to close all the windows opened by csshX (including the
master window) in one shot? In Solaris cssh, you can close all the cssh
windows by closing the master. Thanx.

This has been a long-requested feature that I gave up on (you can work
around it using bounds-setting mode).

I tried this out and it worked very well, thank you.
My only other feature suggestion at this time would be the ability to
specify multiple screens to spread the Terminal windows out on.

Great idea!!
Took slightly longer to implement than I expected - mostly due to getting distracted :-)
A first cut at it is in svn: [link]
This adds the "--hosts" and prerequisite "--remote_command" arguments (and equivalent csshrc options).
The file format is similar to your suggestion, but I opted to drop the double-quotes on the commands:

i would like the ability to add an optional command to specify to the
remote host.

This would be useful in the case where you want to connect to
potentially just one host multiple times and run a slightly different
command.

The format of this file might look like (mockup):
