Luau August 8th

This is the first official word! Merrily (my roomie) and I are having
a luau August 8th. Her father is cooking a pig at my house. We decided
to live on the wild side and are inviting friends, family, liberals,
conservatives, Christians, atheists and mix it all up! Because we want
everyone to have food to eat, RSVP!!!!!!!! We need to know how much
pig to buy. Muslims, please bring your own meat and we'll make sure
you have some sides. The backyard has plenty of room for tents. I've
been told I can't threaten the people who crash at the house with
church in the morning. Fine-ya'll are cooking breakfast!
For those looking for grass skirts, the ones at Walmart were made for
midgets. Don't bother! Look forward to hearing from everyone.

I wish i could RSVP to this but i won't be back home unti lthe end of the month.  BUT i'm putting together a beach trip for the day for the weekend of the 30th. I'm thinking about doing blue crab and having everyone come down and hang out at the beach.  I'm not inviting as many as you seem ot be inviting but instead just close friends.  Maybe like 20 or so.  It's still hush hush until the end of this week when i find out exactly when my leave will be next month so keep this on the down low until I send out an email.  But i hope you can make it.  Like i said it'll either be the 29th or 30th.  I'll rent the beach house for the night and hopefully everyone can come down the morning of (well at least the girls so we can get some sun time) and then hang out that night and eat and then wake up and hang out for a bit and then beach it up and bounce that afternoon.  Anyways Hope you can make that.  The only change that would come from that would be if for soooommmmeeeee reason the military screwed with my leave dates and they happened earlier than that. Alright,   I guess since i'm an idiot and haven't gotten use to this  google.groups..uuuugggghhhhh ( i like yahoo better anyways) i didn't realize that i sent this to everyone.  So I guess this is the email that i'd send at the end of the week when i actually know for sure something.  Soooo....i'll send another email confirming some dates at the end of the week for what i typed Anna (or so i thought it was just to Annna) a couple of you already know anyways (people i've gotten emails from or talked on the phone to), but i didn't want to send an email to the majority of ya'll, til I knew for sure the dates.  The government doesn't like to work with you, so until i was for sure for sure the dates, I was keeping it hush until then.  So anyways to everyone...this is what i'm planning on doing and i'll send out another email when i know something. Hope you can make it.  Miss ya'll   Peace

You are so funny!!  I did this one time before too.  I hope that you are doing well.  So glad to hear you get to come home for a break.  I am sad to say I may not be here that weekend.  My Mom is turning 60 and we have been planning a trip with the family to celebrate.  We keep going between the weekend of the 16th and the weekend of the 28th.  It all depends on what most of the family can do.  Hopefully it will work out that I can see you.
