Steck sat there thinking about how the Kazon named Forest had just ordered that he be taken and “interrogated”. Steck was pretty sure that he would be killed during the interrogation. He was still upset and a bit teary eyed. I don’t want to die he thought, especially on my first mission. He dried his face, And placed his head in his hands.
Steck thought about his mother, Reepal, getting the news from Starfleet that her youngest son had been killed. Being as dramatic as she was, she would probably gasp and fall to the floor grasping at the Officer who delivered the news. My father on the other hand would most likely have a party and of course my brother would say that it was in the line of duty.
He wonder if RAMD Roberts would deliver the letter personally, that is assuming that he is still alive. He pictured the rest of the crew and how they would think of him, well he would not let the Kazon intimidate him any more if he was going to die he would do so with dignity. He would not tell the Kazon anything about the Enterprise. He then heard a voice from behind him.
“okay, who’s got a plan? And if no one does, who wants to hear mine?”*
