83 LOGS!!!!!! And nearly every person logged once if not more, I’m
extremely impressed guys!!!!

I’m going to keep our goal at 60 for the next few weeks too, after
pulling this off it should be a breeze :D

Also, as you saw over the OOC list, Dustin has totally redesigned the
site for us and it looks great!

As you’ve noticed as well, Alpha Fleet Command and the MCS Atlantia will
be joining us, or rather we’ll be joining them, for a plot.  I’d like to
welcome them to our list :D  Now, it is going to be important that you
guys read all logs coming in, there will be stuff to react to and orders
coming over the list that will impact sim as well.

Finally, NSPC will be restarting soon under a new CO, Tosk, so lets give
them a big welcome :D
That’s all I’ve got this week, anyone that want’s a j/l hit me up and we
can get things going :D

=/\= Briefing =/\=

=/\= Title: RnRx2 =/\=

Last Week: After dropping the USS Chaos at DS9 and having our awards
ceremony we set course for Earth. We have arrived at Earth and are
holding in orbit. The crew has been cleared for free time and the ship
is only operating on a skeleton crew working on two twelve hour shifts.
You may start where you like, tonight is just having fun and being free
for awhile(blowing up the ship is not allowed) Type Enterprise Rulz when
complete.

This Week: We pick up about two weeks after last sim. The T'Sorachs are
officially married with a spy apparently after them. After being drugged
Delenna informed Jav when he got back, apparently abducted himself. The
rest of the crew still has RnR time why Starfleet Command generously
loads on some new supplies and finishes minor repairs. By the end of sim
all crew should be back aboard and stations set for departure. Type she
picked a peck of pickle peppers when here.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
=/\= Plot Summary/Plot Objectives =/\=
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ens Fred Carson attended the Pierce-T'Sorach wedding.
While still on their honeymoon, Delenna and Jav through a
series of abductions and meetings learn his allegedly dead mother may
still be alive. Jav was confronted about the existence of a disk his
mother supposedly made containing data potentially embarrassing to many
upper echelon figures. Delenna also met the man behind the mirror in the
interrogation recording, he and Jav had served together.

SCdr Pierce-T'Sorach underwent surgery at Archer Memorial in order
to ease the burden of carrying a child. While there, she met and
received a career opportunity from Commo. McNaught, the hospital
administrator, which she declined. After a  day of recovery at the flat,
they returned to the ship.

Delenna was examined by Dr. Hartford in her office when she returned,
and was declared fit for duty...in 48 hours time.  Then they caught up
on a little medical  business before  he made a hasty exit.

FCapt. Jason Roberts went home to Tx  and reconnected with his Dad.
Ens Isabelle Evans bolted from the Enterprise, believing that
everyone aboard mean to do her harm.

The crew of the enterprise rallied to locate and retrieve and errant
pilot. Ensign Evans, the mysterious guest from the spatial anomaly,
somehow managed to get free and evade capture on board long enough to
find her way to the surface of earth. With no friends and no idea where
she was or where she was going, a desperate chase was on.

After she was located by locals the Enty was contacted and we took over
the search. Contained to a large forested area in Oregon all resources
at our disposal were brought to bear to find and bring Evans back as
quickly and as painlessly as possible.

Lt Jade used her Psychic abilities to pin point her location and track
her, and Ens Blair facilitated her identification with a high speed fly
over in a fighter. Once cornered Dr Pierce was sent in to try and calm
Evans and reason with her.

However the captain in an uncharacteristic loss of patience got fed up
with Evans' carry on and tagged her with a transporter tag, once
indicated as such Evans was beamed back to the ship, placed in the
lounge and kept there isolated by Forcefields.

CSec Lyra Jade reoriented herself in the security office,
scheduling training for the staff and pulling medical and psych
profiles, until FCaptain Roberts tapped her to sit in the big chair.
CEO Va'Lok suffered temporal displacement trauma in his quarters
and relived future events.  He was sentenced, in the future, to return
to his own timeline (as our aCEO) and to forget all about his temporal
jumps, with the help of a medication. Upon his return to duty, he
discovered what Shea had done and reported the incident to the Captain
immediately before recalling Shea to duty and ordering him to clean the
plasma manifolds properly.  He then contacted Dr. Hartford to see what
he could do about having the cooler removed from engineering.

FCapt Roberts transferred the Enteprise's home  base to the Eden
Fleet Yards, and negotiated that agreement with Cdr Mike Levinson there.

SLt Trenor Rey brought First Force recruits aboard and began their
training and integration into the Enterprise, with the help of CPO
George Eads.

Ens Dustin Shea threw himself a party in Engineering and damaged one
of the warp core drives.

Fleet  Captain  Roberts, while still visiting his parents, was
contacted by BGen Maxwell Carlisle in regards to the attacks on the
Enterprise at UCF HQ.  Seems the Enterprise was not the only ship
attacked, and BGen Carlisle believes it may be the work of a group
called "The Reclaimers", though there is as yet little proof to that claim.

Pilot Isabelle Evans has finally come to a tentative agreement with
Roberts about serving as XO of the Raptors, and reports to Captain
T`Sorach as ordered, preparing to fulfill the duties of her new post.

FCaptain Roberts returned to the ship to find what Ens Shea had
done to Engineering and sent a memo to the CEO about it, before turning
his attention to the training requirements of the 15 requests for First
Force troops.

Please remember that all MAJOR plot changes need to be cleared with
the command staff before a log goes through! You can do this by
sending the command staff (enterprisecomm...@ucip.org) a log
labeled with "Draft" tagged to the subject line. We'll typically
let you know if it's approved within 24 hours, or tell you what
might need to be modified before it's sent to the listserv.

When using other characters in your logs, please keep in mind that
person's characteristics. Character information can be found on the
website (under roster -- just click on the number next to
the character's name). If you're still unsure how to interact with a
character, then privately mail the person involved, and I'm sure
they'll be willing to help.

Conversely, if you feel that your character is being portrayed

Nice work, 66 logs :D  and our sims are running upwards of 2 hours, y’all are doin’ great :D  Since we’ve been over the last 2 weeks, I’m raising the bar a bit, our new goal is 80 logs.  Now, don’t go for the 50 cal and find a roof top near my place just yet ;P  Always, quality comes before quantity.  I’d rather see 10 quality logs then 500 logs.  That’s not to say I don’t want to see the 80 logs, I honestly think y’all can pull it off with every one being quality, but don’t stress over it :)

Also, I’d like to keep the sims at about 2 hours.  The one hour will still be the minimum so if you leave after an hour, it’s no biggie :)  I figure since this is about what we’re averaging anyways I’m just going to aim for 2 hours every week :)

Now, again, don’t stress over the stuff above, these are just things I’d like to see us, but this is supposed to be fun too, non of it other then the one hour and/or one log a week depending on which side you sim, is mandatory.  The extra stuff just adds more to the sim and makes us look that much better as a whole :)

OK, enough of my 5 am ramblings hehe.  2 more things this week, I’d like to welcome our new Counselor, Sub Lieutenant Tarron Larel, Welcome Aboard :D  And lastly, join me in welcoming the MCS Atlantia and Alpha Fleet command to our list, as most of you already know we’re doing a joint plot with them.  We’ve had some logs from them and also had Captain Gainnes guest with us, which I’d like to thank her for :)

Ok, that’s it from me, enjoy your 4th :D

Kind of a slow week for logs this week, though I expected it with the
Canadian and U.S. holidays :)  I know y’all will come back this week
strong ;P  We have some unexcused listed, unless you guys email me first
with your status expect a check up from me soon.  We’ve started our new
plot this week and are in orbit of a Romulan colony, read up in the sim
log or drop me a line to find out what you can be logging about :)

=/\= Briefing =/\=

=/\= Title: Meetings and Set Sail =/\=

Last Week: We start at Utopia Plentia orbiting Mars and wrapping up
final repair from our drunken engineers party<<ps – he’s planning the
next party on Starbase 22>>. All stations are to be securing to head to
Alpha Fleets HQ to meet with the Marine Corps Ship Atlantia and Alpha
Fleets Command staff. All other orders will come in sim, but be prepared
for a briefing. Type HOOOOAH! When done.

This Week: The Command teams of Alpha Fleet, Enterprise and Atlantia are
up meeting on Avalon. Ensign Shea has been released from the brig and
the crew has been granted a working shoreleave. While on the tation all
crew should try to collect information on the Reclaimers. Listen or join
in conversations about them etc and report back to command with any
information gathered. We will also be taking on some final personnel so
security should be stationed at all docking ports and screening everyone
who comes aboard. Type HOORAH when done

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
=/\= Plot Summary/Plot Objectives =/\=
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Command team of the Enterprise went aboard Avalon to have a
meeting with Alpha Fleet command. While the CO seemed quite happy with
the way things progressed, the XO seemed to get more confused, the more
the Alpha fleet representative spoke. In the end it all counted for
nought, Alpha fleet requested the Enterprise to render assistance to a
Romulan colony, wether they needed it or not without Romulan approval.
The CO seemed to think his connections with the romulans would allow the
big E to flaunt Romulan foreign policy, but only time will tell.

Meanwhile on the station, several of the crew were relaxing and having a
look around and particularly Mr Rey was fortunate to over hear some
people discussing certain events that might prove useful to know about,
he would return to the ship with this information in tact.

Ensign Shea was released, and looking for some "alone" time decided to
go for a spell in the holodeck, much to the annoyance of Ensign Neera.
She chased him down and, while at first he didnt want to see her, they
did talk and perhaps a new step forward was reached in their relationship.

FCaptain Roberts contacted a member of Romulan Command in order to gain
clearance to a Romulan Colony on Valeran III. This colony, according to
Roberts, had gone silent, and Enterprise was being sent  to investigate.

After that little chat, Delenna contacted Roberts, trying to find her
best friend, Carrie Roberts, and was told she was still on Earth for an
extended vacation.   Delenna then sent a text only communique to her at
the Roberts ranch to ask after her and the children.

After talking to her, Roberts met SLt Rey, and was informed about the
secret meeting supposedly taking place in cargo  bay 4 at 16:00.  Rey
was ordered to attend, sans uniform and to report back after the fact.
Following the meeting with Rey, Roberts communicated with his brother
Mat on Zetari station, informing him that their family ranch would
require around the clock security, due to strained relations with the
Romulan government.

Captain T`Sorach checked in on his wife, soothing her after a nightmare,
and filling her in on ship's business.

SLt Tarron Larel paid the CMO a  house call to introduce himself.

Several hours later, Jav returned to Delenna from being on duty and
again, they discussed the current situation with the Reclaimers,
wondering how Miguel Bain fits into the larger puzzle of events.

Well, things picked up a little with logs this week, though attendance
wasn’t where I’d of liked it.  Remember, if you can’t make a sim or log
you need to send an excusal :)

Now, the good stuff, we have 3 new Recruits this week :D  Civilian
Recruit Jack Hampshire who will be in medical as a Surgeon, Recruit
Sekaya Morak who will be doubling as a Counselor and Medical, and
Recruit Pohl Fursida who will be on the bridge as the Acting Chief of
Operations, welcome to you all :D

My last thing here is our log counts.  I have our goal set pretty high,
at 80 logs for the week, but don’t be discouraged by the high number :)
While I’d love to see 80 a week, I do know some weeks are harder then
others, so log as many as you can, but have fun doing it.  I’d like to
see at the very least 40 logs this week :)

That’s it from me, see you tonight :)

This Week: We have set out after being told not to enter Romulan space,
which we are doing anyway ;P.  We are currently headed to Velaren III, a
Romulan colony just inside Romulan space.  We don’t have any information
other then it’s gone quiet and is near where reported Reclaimers have
been operating. Before we left, thanks to some spying done by our
Engineering Chief and Unit Commander, we have found out a bit more about
the Reclaimers.  They think the Federation and Confederation has gone
soft and are expending to many resources to help other species.  They
never detailed their plans, though a hand full of officers and enlisted
personnel joined at their meeting.

All new crew have been checked by security, and rechecked after Roberts’
conversation with tr’Helber’ah.  Security is on high alert and been
posted at all sensitive areas, including the bridge.  We are at Yellow
Alert, all stations are on standby and we are ten minutes out from the
Romulan border and the colony.

The Reclaimers delivered the biovirus to their conspirators aboard the
CSS- t'G'uld, intending to infect and murder all inhabitants of a
Romulan Colony on Velaren III via a probe launched from the ship.

Lots of activity this week, upon arriving at Valaren III we were
accosted by a romulan ship, after it released a probe into the planets
atmosphere. Much to the Enterprises surprise, all life on the planet was
dead within a matter of moments. The brief engagement resulted in the
enemy ship fleeing and the Enterprise returning to investigate the planet.

Further investigation revealed that the probe released some form of here
to fore unknown viral agent into the planets atmosphere and it was THAT
agent that's ceased all life on the planet. More thorough investigation
was indeed warranted.

Several likely scenarios were presented to the CO and he finally chose
to begin with a high orbit fly over in a runabout to gather a sample or
2. The XO, Shea and Dr Hartford were volunteered to undertake this
possible lethal assignment. Preparations began.

SCdr Pierce-T`Sorach returned to duty, finally given the go ahead by
Dr. Thomas Hartford, on his way to Away Team Duty.  Unable to agree on
who should go on the assignment, they both went to the shuttle bay,
where Capt. T`Sorach settled the debate in short order, unequivocally
ordering her to report to FCapt. Roberts.  Ens Shea and Dr. Hartford
prepared themselves and the shuttle for away team duty, under the
watchful directives of Captain T`Sorach.

FCapt Roberts agreed Delenna could return to duty for HALF a shift.
:P stationing her on the bridge to analyze data from the planet, as well
as incoming data and transmissions from the Away Team with Ens. Neera.

CNS Tarron Larel also reported for bridge duty, hoping to make some
sense out of the current predicament.

Dr. Hampshire, a civilian trauma surgeon, reported to sickbay for duty
at Dr. Carter's request.

FCaptain Roberts sent a message to his wife at the farm, interrupted by
new orders from General Carlisle to protect a trilithium mine at Delvana
IV. Roberts agreed to the orders with the caveat that he would need four
hours to leave orbit of Velaren III, where the Away team was currently
studying the metagenic weapon used to murder the planetary populace of
the Romulan Colony.

SLt Valok contemplated options of protecting further worlds from the
viral weapon and others of its kind while struggling to find the correct
temperature for his tea.

The Away Team collected two samples of the virus and returned to
Enterprise with the self contained shuttle craft sustaining a
containment field around the virus. All away team members as well as the
shuttle are awaiting decontamination. Dr. Hartford is monitoring the
virus carefully for signs that it may adapt to the containment field and
be able to permeate it and disseminate throughout the ship.

a) Logging Information

Conversely, if you feel that your character is being portrayed
incorrectly by someone please contact them to try to work out an
agreeable solution. Just keep in mind when logging to treat other
characters the way you'd like them to treat you -- with the respect
due to any member of Starfleet who is a specialist in their field.

If you think your log may be going out of bounds, then please ask!

If you are having problems finding things to write about or would
just like some help with your log, please contact your department
head or the command team. Remember, you don't always have to log
about things relating to the main plot -- logs that develop your
character's personality are encouraged! We're eager to help if
you're having trouble; just email the command team
(enterprisecomm...@ucip.org).

Please remember to use the following format for your subject lines:

=/\= Briefing =/\=

=/\= Title: ~~Here we come to save the dayyyy, Underdog…err, Enterprise
is on it’s way~~=/\=

Last Week: We have set out after being told not to enter Romulan space,
which we are doing anyway ;P.

This Week: The away team has returned bringing the virus aboard, against
orders, in the shuttle and Enterprise has warped out as a fleet of
Romulan ships were detected.  Using the Transwarp, for only the second
time since the ship was put in service, we have set course to Devana IV
Trilithium Mines. A fleet of five ships from Enterprises Task Force,
including a medical ship, has been sent ahead of us and been on patrol
the last day.  So far everything’s quiet but that could change in an
instant.  We are ten minutes out and at red alert.  All fighters should
be preparing to launch why First Force prepares to head to the mine to
repel intruders.

Security should be deployed through out the ship to repel intruders as
well and all crew are to have they’re side arms on them.  All
departments should be locked down and preparing not only to assist out
ship but the rest of the group as well.  Enterprise will be the command
ship and as such all Enterprise department heads are the fleet
department heads. Type lets rock when getting here.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
=/\= Plot Summary/Plot Objectives =/\=
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Reclaimers, surprised by Enterprise's appearance at Velara III,
alerted the Empire that their test of the virus had  been observed, and
gave chase to the ship, confronting them at their target of the
trilithium mines at Denara IV.

Enterprise, with two samples of the lethal virus contained in shuttle
Diego, reported to the trilithium mines on Denara IV, where the
Relcaimers had launched an attack, in an attempt to claim the mines for
themselves. Five ships of of FCapt. Roberts fleet were already there,
responding to the attack.  First Force was sent to the mines, in an
attempt to hold them in the UCF  name.  Sadly, their efforts were
unsuccessful, and the troops were evacuated to the Shoowre for medical
attention, and the mines atomized. Enteprise herself joined in the
fighting against five Reclaimer held vessels, but sustained minimal
damage to ship and crew, which Engineering and Medical responded to. Lt.
Va'Lok was injured in an engineering explosion and assisted by Dr. Neera.

Dr. Neera treated Lt Va'Lok for his serious injuries sustained in
engineering during the attack, with a little help from Nurse Gemma.

FCapt. Roberts visited engineering to ascertain the department's
status with Ens Shea. The COps Officer Fuhrsida met him outside
engineering, where Roberts gave him his assignment.   After  the CO's
visit, Shea got busy with and completed the ship's repairs before
compiling a "to do list" including assessing fleet wide ship damages,
and checking up on Lt Va'Lok.

Dr. Pierce-T`Sorach contacted the CMO of the Shoowre, discovering
they'd only suffered minimal injuries, having abstained from the battle,
but were in need of personnel. Delenna agreed to see what she could do
about sending some extra doctors, as the First Force troops were over
there, all but four too critically injured to transport. Afterwards,
Roberts walked in, ordering her to help out on the Shoowre, bringing
with him the necessary clearances and authorizations.

When he left her office, he visited Lt Va'lok, recovering nicely from
his unfortunate injuries in engineering. When the captain left, Dr.
Hansen visited Va'Lok, checking on his progress.

Dr. Pierce, after seeing to the transfer of the virus aboard the
Shoowre, requested and received supply lists from the other ships via
Rct Fursida, which were delivered to the transporter room where she
picked it up and accompanied several of her staff to the Shoowre to
attend wounded. Certain she had everything she needed, including the
necessary security clearances for everyone involved, they departed.

Several days later, the virus had been successfully transferred, the
Shoowre patients seen to,  and Dr. Pierce looked forward to returning to
the Enterprise
