=^= Zetari Station =^=
Sekkoth was waiting outside off the Operations Centre of the Zetari Station with his left leg up against the wall and his arms crossed. He was awaiting the Young Ensign that kicked his ass in the Holodeck. He was not sure what time she knocked off so Sekkoth had been waiting around for hours.
one stage Zetari Security came along and checked up on him. Once he was cleared they told him that she was due to come off shift in twenty minutes.
(( I've waited this long. I might as well wait a little longer. ))
The next twenty minutes took so long to go by. Then the door opened and there she was. She looked a little different. Sadar put it down to the fact that her uniform was not torn and she was not unleashing a tornado off kicks and punches on him.
He stood up and straightened his uniform. As she made eye contact with him he smiled and nodded his head in a little bow that any warrior would have instantly known to be a greeting and a sign of respect.
Tamara was surprised to see Sekkoth waiting for her as she stepped out of Main Operations. She hadn't expected him to see him so soon after their little training session. She nodded back in the same way, and walked toward him, her thick tail flicking slowly.
- "Coming back for a second round, lieutenant?" she asked him with a soft giggle.
"NO, no, no, no... and that Lieutenant Commander too you." Sekkoth pulled out his collar to show off the new pip. "But I will let it slide this time. I was wondering if you were up to that tour off my little ship... and maybe a candle lit dinner in my quarters later?"
Sekkoth realized that what he said may come off a little forward so he tried to cover it. "Before you ask, I treat everyone who kicks my ass with the same treatment and no, no-one has kicked my ass before." he added with a wink.
The Hirumarian giggled a bit and nodded, her big round feline ears perked up, her tail swishing lazyly. She seemed to be thinking for a short moment.
"Of course I'm still up for that tour of the Red Dwarf!" she finally replied. "As for that dinner, well...” she mused," just remember one thing: I like my meat very juicy, and I do not kiss on first date!" she added, winking at him playfully and chuckling. "Well, that makes two things actually, but who cares."
- "So, when do you want us to go?" she asked.
Sekkoth blushed a little and hoped that his dark skin covered it well. "Ah... Whenever suits you, Ensign." Sekkoth continued to blush.
Tamara nodded a bit. "Then let's rendezvous in half an hour on the Red Dwarf," she said.
Sekkoth meet up with Tamara and showed her around the Red Dwarf. He was obviously proud off her and when the tour ended they where conveniently outside Sekkoth's quarters.
"That's a very nice ship you have, Commander," she said once they finished the tour. She had taken a quick sonic shower after he invited her, and she had put on some more relaxed clothes. The Hirumarian looked like a civilian, and more than one crewmember of the Red Dwarf raised a brow as Sekkoth and her visited the ship, but none dared to say anything. Some knew about what happened in the holodeck and how she kicked the ass of the three men, the others were curious about the identity of this young civilian their Lieutenant-Commander thought so highly of to act as a guide for her. Or perhaps she was some high-up in disguise, one can never be sure with the most exotic of the non-human species.
"Your quarters I guess?" she asked, already knowing the answer, her tail flicking slowly. "I hope you prepared a nice dinner, I am hungry!" she added. One of her ears swiveled, as if chasing an unseen insect, the only hint of the slight nervousness she was feeling, for those who can interpret it (Who are scarce on this part of the galaxy, given her species barely get away from her homeworld.). Even though she's been close of new people since she came on board Zetari, like Seth and Dakota, the setting this night was quite different.
Sekkoth opened the door and inside was a nice humble sort off layout with a short legged table and some mats on the floor. He gestured for Tamara to enter. He followed her in and disappeared into another room. He walked out with a tray and put it on the table. "Sit, please." Sekkoth sat down crossed legged and took the towel off the tray."I hope you like traditional sushi. It is a little skill I picked up while I was staying in Japan." Sadar the proceeded to pour some Saki into to small egg cup sized cups and then set them on fire. He handed Tamara a cup and smiled. "Saki. It’s the only way to drink it." Sekkoth blew the flames out and raised his cup." To the future and good friends lost... and found." He added a smile to the last part off his toast before downing the drink.
The tigress was a bit surprised by the layout. She stepped in, and looked with much curiosity at the table and the mats on the floor; her head slightly cocked to the side and emitting a low mewl of slight puzzlement; not really expecting it nor knowing how to use thoses. For a moment, she thought it was some sort of a joke, but, when Sekkoth sat down, she did the same. Sitting cross-legged proved a little tricky for the feline, given her legs' bone structure, but she managed to do it, or something close enough and comfortable enough, thanks to the mats.
"I never actually ate suhis, but I heard of it. It looks delicious," she said. The tigress took the cup and watched Sekkoth. She blew the flames too, and raised her cup as well. "To the future and good friends lost and found!" she echoed, smiling back at him. As he drank the egg-sized cup whole, she sniffed at it, her whiskers twitched for a moment, then she carefully placed the cup back on the table, with such precautions one could think it was some sort of explosive or hazardous material, like the old-fashioned nitroglycerine, which could set off and kill them at any moment.
